Why use Armor Vision?
Top professionals in the US and Europe are using Armor Vision, Why? Multiple reasons but the main ones are backup if they run out of tear offs, backup if their roll off system breaks, reducing the amount of Tear offs so they have a better field of vision to name just a few of the benefits.
Can I use it on its own?
You sure can! In most cases you could use only Armor Vision, have the best optical clarity and then wipe the dirt away if it sticks to the lens. Many times dirt will hit and drop off but if it sticks? wipe away.. The World is gradually banning Tear offs from the National Enduro series in the US to the British Motocross Championship, it's happening! Armor Vision is not only the best solution but the most simple on the market!
When can't I use it?
Never! This is how we believe its best used and why you should always use it!
Monsoon - Its a mudder like never before!
Use - Apply the film under Tear offs (If permitted or Roll offs) When your out of tears or rolls then try to keep your goggles on and wipe! (If its raining and your hands are soaked let the water do the work for you cleaning your HPPF)
Wet One - Pretty much like above but if its not raining and you haven't hit the deck and stuck your hand in a puddle just wipe and go!
Prime - Track has been prepped and watered. Some wet mud some perfect. Reduce the number of tear offs or better still remove altogether and get the most from your field of vision. Wipe and go!
Dry and Dusty - Hopefully not too dusty but just run AV and wipe without fear of that dust or sand making scratches on your lens.
Once you get to know and understand how Armor Vision performs you will adjust the above to using it more and more without other devices that can break! We are Racers at Armor Vision all be it passed ones and we don't run anything other than AV Smartfilm!
What is it made of?
This is the secret sauce so although we can't reveal all we can tell you its a unique multi layer film with a Hydrophobic coating. This means water runs off it much easier than your normal lens material. The H factor as we call it is the Hardness level based on the pencil test which we pass at 7H meaning you can wipe hard without fear of scratches impairing your view!
