These are the upper and lower hardware bolts for mounting the Enduro platforms to the Mounts. If you are buying a complete set for the left and right side platforms, you will need to purchase 2 of each upper and lower bolt (4 bolts total). All bolts come with a thread locker. Always apply thread locker on both the male and female threads of the mount and bolt when installing. When installing hardware, always get a couple of threads started on both the upper and lower bolts before torquing to spec. You will need heat to uninstall the hardware on a future date. Allow 24 hours for the thread locker to cure before use.
We design our footpegs to have stress and failure points within the hardware. As you can see from the 2 photos, we want the mounting bolts to bend and strip before the platform, mount, or frame gets damaged. If you carry a spare set of mounting bolts with you, then you should be able to repair a damaged set. The stainless steel mounts will have stronger threads than the hardware, allowing for failures to stay with the bolts. Our mounting hardware is always designed to bend and not break.
